Kids Cooking Whole Day Summer Camps

This isn't a typical "kiddie" cooking camp. Techniques like making food from scratch will be taught to put together healthy, delicious meals and snacks. Four themes are available to keep your child learning and having fun this summer.

Culinary Masters - July 5, 19, August 2, 16

If your child has a desire to get creative in the kitchen and is already familiar with basic cooking skills, let them discover their inner foodie with this camp! Campers will use mystery basket ingredients to create their own recipe and learn how to prepare nutritious dishes with unique ingredients.

Plants We Eat - July 6, 20, August 3, 17

A blend of culinary cooking and food gardening, in this camp your child will learn about plants we eat by preparing recipes including dessert using edible plants and plant proteins as well as grow their own sprouts to take home.

Kitchen Chemistry - July 12, 26, August 9, 23

Science has never been so much fun! Learn about enzymes to make cheese, proteins to make pasta and the chemistry behind sorbet then eat your culinary creations.

Farm to Fork - July 13, 27, August 10, 24

Kids will learn all about urban agriculture to explore how food grows and how to cook nutritious meals from local ingredients. We will tour the South Health Campus community garden and kids will also plant their very own seedlings to take home. Kids will leave with all the recipes that they cooked.
