DIRTT is an award-winning construction company, specializing in minimal-waste interior construction projects. Using ICE® software originally created in-house, DIRTT uses videogame technology to allow clients to experience their designs and modifications in real-time, interactive 3D while simultaneously producing manufacturing instructions for the DIRTT factories. DIRTT is the first company in the world that's able to manufacture custom solutions as a standard practice using fewer resources than typical manufacturers. DIRTT’s methods greatly reduce the amount of construction and renovation waste by manufacturing custom interior designs to perfectly fit the base buildings of commercial, healthcare and education clients. This construction method drastically reduces the amount of construction waste that goes to landfill.

For its employees, DIRTT has a carpool draw each month and a stipend for those who drive hybrid or Smart Cars. DIRTT’s freight company offers the highest level of environmentally sustainable transportation augments for their fleet. DIRTT also uses its own sustainable building supplies, installs low-flush toilets and motion-sensor lighting and faucets, uses ozone water as cleaning solution, utilizes solar and wind energy, and the company is entirely paperless.
