Do It Green (DIG) is a social enterprise spun out of the Calgary Folk Music Festival’s multiple award winning Eco-Initiatives program. DIG works closely with Calgary events coordinators for comprehensive zero-waste event plans. DIG's work can be spotted in events all over the city: Calgary Stampede, Comic Expo, Calgary Marathon, and Beakerhead, to name a few.

DIG's initiatives include recycling and composting programs (including helpful environmental educators), increased bike accessibility, and water refilling stations (H20 Buggies) in lieu of selling plastic bottles. DIG is partnered with The City of Calgary, who subsidizes DIG's H20 Buggies for non-profit organizations. DIG also works closely with Vecova, a bottle depot that employs disabled Calgarians and funds community programs. DIG is a 1% For The Planet company and directs 1% of its gross revenue to its charitable partner - Centre for Affordable Water and Sanitation Technology (CAWST).
