Fairouz Academy is an Arabic language Academy in Calgary. They aim to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for everyone to learn Arabic using a modern and effective approach.

Fairouz Academy believes in the power of languages and the importance of communication. Languages open doors, new friendships, and travel opportunities. Not to mention that learning a new language boosts creativity and brain function.

Arabic is a flexible, elegant and a not so difficult language to learn. It is the fifth most spoken language in the world and one of the official and working languages of the United Nations. Spoken in more than 25 countries. Anyone with the right amount of interest can learn it.

Fairouz Academy offers different programs that cater to children and adults, speakers and non-speakers. The courses provide the foundation of the Arabic language using the full immersion method, while dedicating individual attention to each student’s needs. All of their programs are weekend and afterschool lessons.

Fairouz Academy’s children programs, utilize techniques such as plays, crafts, stories and songs and rhymes to supplement the textbooks to keep students engaged in their classes. Fairouz Academy’s goal with the completion of their programs is for the student to be able to speak, read and write Arabic.
