Two of the founders of Fuse33 have been heavily involved in the maker community for the last 10 years, Shannon and Maria Hoover have been leaders in ensuring they can provide a safe space for Calgarians, from hobbyists to entrepreneurs, to expand their skills and start their own business. They both manage the makerspace, so they can help members too. Their vision is to empower others by sharing the tools and equipment available, the risk to start a small business is pretty low. They see failure as part of the path to success and what a better way to do it than within a maker community that they can connect with at any point in their journey.
