New Vendor Alert: Introducing Lazy Bake
Did someone say chewy chocolate chip cookies?

It’s been a busy couple of months with Valentine’s Day, Family Day, International Women’s Day and everything in between. Busy times bring new ideas, new moves and even better, new vendors! We absolutely love bringing new vendors into the network and watching their businesses grow. During the month of February, Lazy Bake entered the Be Local network and we couldn’t be more overjoyed. They have been a great addition to the team and it’s only been a couple of months! We’re honouring Women’s History Month by bringing attention to women who are making big waves in the community.
Lazy Bake was created during COVID times, as the owner, Katie, found more and more time for one of her favourite hobbies. After spending copious amounts of time on various baking endeavors (sourdough, especially), she quickly realized that many people do not love spending hours making something that they will “demolish” in five minutes. Her vision was to make incredibly delicious baking kits, ones that are easy to make and enjoy in the comfort of your own home. These baking kits are the ultimate solution for your busiest days, whether they consist of wall-to-wall meetings, baking for an occasion, or both.
Katie’s products range from decadent brownies to chewy cookies. To make these baking kits easier, Lazy Bake provides digital versions of the instruction cards that are included in the kits, on their website. If you’ve lost yours, don’t worry - Lazy Bake is at your service. On top of it all, the company makes a number of gluten free options for those who are gluten intolerant.
